A working group consisting of representatives of the Navoi Oblast Department of Ecology, the Oblast Prosecutor's Office, the Department of Internal Affairs and the National Guard inspected the activities of lime kilns in the field.

As a result of the inspection of kilns located on the territory of the mahalla "Yangiaryk" of Karmaninsky district, it was found that pollutants were emitted into the atmosphere. In addition, the inventory revealed that several lime kilns in Karmaninsky district were operating illegally.

A protocol was drawn up on this fact in accordance with the Code of Administrative Responsibility. In addition, 36 illegal lime kilns were liquidated on the territory of "Yangiaryk" mahalla of Karmani district for non-compliance with the established requirements.

Inspections are ongoing, and other illegal lime kilns are also planned for elimination.
