On August 22-23, a nationwide charitable khashar was held in the country under the motto "A well-appointed and prosperous mahalla is an ornament of the country".

The event was organized in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated August 13, 2025 within the framework of the national project "Yashil Makon". Its purpose was to carry out improvement works, promote healthy lifestyle and sanitary-hygienic norms, as well as to support socially vulnerable segments of the population.

Employees of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change also took an active part in the khashar. In particular, in Tashkent, in the mahalla "Yunus Rajabiy" of Yakasaray district, the area was cleaned of garbage.

Within two days, streets, parks, squares, places of pilgrimage, playgrounds and other objects were cleaned in all mahallas of the country. In addition, trees were whitewashed, flowers and other plants were tended.

During the Hashar, another noble tradition - visiting and helping the elderly, lonely old people, socially unprotected groups and people with disabilities - was preserved.

The nationwide charitable Hashar is becoming a good tradition that contributes to maintaining cleanliness in our country, strengthening the sense of humanity, increasing environmental responsibility and involvement in nature. We urge our compatriots to be caring to nature and to treat the environment with care not only on the days of Hashar, but also every day.
