The President signed a decree "On Additional Measures for Comprehensive Support of the Elderly and Improvement of Their Living Standards".

From April 1, 2022. :

(a) Single elderly persons in need of care and elderly persons living alone are treated once a year in sanatoriums free of charge

b) The elderly and low-income elderly shall be provided with medicines, medical and special prosthetic and orthopedic devices as prescribed by a doctor for 3 months and shall be reimbursed for surgical intervention;

c) elderly persons with severe diseases and disabilities are reimbursed up to 50% of the amount of medicines based on the need for 3 months, in accordance with the prescriptions of doctors.

In this case, the list of medicines will be agreed with the Ministry of Health and the appropriate amount of medicines will be reimbursed on the day of the decision of the Ministry of Support to Mahalla and Older Generation;

d) reimbursement of expenses for subscriptions for elderly persons for physical training and sports in physical culture and sports institutions (stadiums, gyms, swimming pools and other sports complexes).

At the same time, the monthly amount of season ticket expenses shall be transferred to the account of the sports institution not more than 2 times the basic calculation value;

e) The cost of tickets for elderly people to state theaters and museums will be fully reimbursed.

As of May 1, 2022, social protection officers will provide the following services based on requests to the call center of the Agency for the Development of Medical and Social Services for the Single Elderly and People with Disabilities:

(a) Information Service:

- registering doctors at family doctor's offices and family polyclinics and inviting them to home visits;

   ordering, registering and clarifying the status of the order for the use of Nuronii Foundation services;

·       Receiving information on preventive, therapeutic and tourist trips organized by the Nuronii Foundation;

·       obtaining information about physical culture and sports facilities (stadiums, gyms, swimming pools and other sports complexes) for physical education and sports;

·       getting full information about cinemas, theaters, museums and other cultural events for cultural recreation.

b) home-based services:

·       home delivery of medicines, prosthetic and orthopedic devices and wheelchairs as part of the Nuronii Foundation's services;

·       Delivery of medicines to elderly and disabled persons living alone at their expense, as prescribed by a doctor, and provision of medical examination data after examination by a doctor in family doctor's offices and family polyclinics;

·        delivery of books, magazines, newspapers and other publications for single pensioners and people with disabilities who are library subscribers.
