Born on 21 September 1971 in Jizzakh District, Jizzakh Region.

Education – higher, lawyer, First-Class Legal Adviser.

Graduated from the State Law Institute in 1994.

Began his career in 1994 as Senior Consultant at the International Law Department of the Ministry of Justice.

From 1995 to 1997, served as Chief Consultant at the Department for Drafting and Legal Examination of Legislative and Regulatory Acts of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

From 1997 to 2000 – Head of a Division at the Department of Legal Work in the National Economy,
2000 to 2002 – Head of the Department for the Classification of Legislation and Legal Information,
2002 to 2003 – Head of the Department of Legal Work in the National Economy,
2003 to 2005 – Head of the Department for Legal Protection of Foreign Investments and Enterprises with Foreign Investment.

From 2005 to 2013 – Head of the Surkhandarya Regional Department of Justice,
2013 to 2017 – Head of the Syrdarya Regional Department of Justice,
2017 to 2021 – Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
2021 to 2022 – Rector of Tashkent State University of Law.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-249 dated 15 November 2022, A. Tashkulov was confirmed as Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
