Biography
She was born on 28 August 1968 in Yangikurgan district of Namangan province.
In 1975, she entered school No. 1 in Yangikurgan district, from which she graduated with honours in 1986. Then in 1986 she graduated from Namangan State Pedagogical Institute and the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
She began her labour activity in 1989 as a teacher at school No. 1 in Yangikurgan district. Until 1998, she worked in various positions in the sphere of public education (deputy director for educational work, head of department, senior teacher). In 1998-2011, she was elected Deputy Khokim of Yangikurgan district on social protection of family, motherhood and childhood, then held the positions of Chairperson of the Women's Committee, then Director of Yangikurgan district representative office of the Association of Farmers and Peasants, Director of Yangikurgan district farm service centre of the Association of Farmers, Deputy Khokim of Yangikurgan district - Chairperson of the Women's Committee. In 2011-2017, she served as the chairperson of Namangan Regional Association of Trade Union Organisations, in 2017-2018 - Deputy Khokim of the region, and in 2018 - Chairperson of the Women's Committee [ 2 ] . Zulaiho Mahkamova has been the first deputy chairwoman of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan since 24 April 2018, and has been appointed hokim of Turakurgan district since 4 March 2020. She became the fifth female hokim in Uzbekistan.
Since 1 March 2022, she has been chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women's Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan
