During different periods of his career, he held a number of important positions in the healthcare sector: he headed the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, was the first deputy minister of health, and also headed the main medical department of the Presidential Administration. On October 30, 2023, he moved to the Presidential Administration as first deputy head of the Department of Social Development.

On January 4, 2023, he was appointed acting Minister of Health, while continuing to work in his previous position. He replaced Amrillo Inoyatov, who took up the post in December 2022 but soon went on leave. After the new government was approved by the Legislative Chamber on November 21, 2024, he was appointed full Minister of Health, without acting status.
